I designed and launched Plantkyn’s e-commerce site, blog, and lead-generation funnel. With a focus on clarity and storytelling, the site guides beginners from discovering plant care resources to purchasing tailored Care Guides and joining the email community.
Plantkyn is a houseplant education brand I created to help beginner plant parents feel confident and supported. The goal was to design an e-commerce website that felt approachable and playful, while also functioning as a conversion-driven platform with a clear path from discovery to purchase.
Approach
Research & Strategy
Studied e-commerce benchmarks, beginner plant parent pain points (including interviews), and SEO opportunities to shape site structure and funnel flow.
UX & Design
Developed wireframes and final designs with an emphasis on storytelling, clear CTAs, and easy navigation for beginner plant people and gift givers.
Implementation & Optimization
Built the site on Shopify, integrated Klaviyo for email capture/flows, and optimized the blog for SEO and readability.
